My name is John and my family roots are from America. Unfortunately, due to economical reasons my family and I, migrated to Europe years ago. Although, in my veins runs American blood.
As a child, I spent many hours playing with toys, something which my two-year old son does today. Being a father, I worry very much about raising my child. Almost every day I read in the papers about toy recalls.
This website (www.usamadetoys.net) was created at the end of 2013 in an effort to raise my child properly with safe, good quality toys. The trigger to start this effort, however, was my love for the homeland that I miss so much, AMERICA!
It is a fact that America’s economy is suffering. The rapidly growing Chinese economy has contributed tο this. Most toys sold all over the world are made in China. The same thing is happening in the USA. This has resulted in an economy that is struggling to overcome the global crisis. We must all support companies with American employees in order to reduce the unemployment rates which are rising every day.
Although I am working many hours a day, I try to find time to improve this site and make it more informative. After many sleepless nights, I managed to gather information about most companies (hopefully) producing toys in the USA. My sources were the web pages of the companies, the social media and various business directories (which I thank a lot for their valuable information they supplied me). I really regret not being able to confirm by telephone the details of all companies. So please be lenient if you detect possible errors or omissions and inform me so I can take the necessary steps to restore the contents of this Site by using the contact form. Also if you make toys in the USA and you are not included in this Site, or you accidentally registered on it, please let me know.
